That would be called jailbreaking . The iPhone will work with only T-mobile because AT&T are on the same GSM network (sim cards removable) . Trust me I have verizon and I've been craving an iPhone . There's no way if you have sprint or verizon . If you have a plan with T-mobile then you can just get their cheap free first first . Buy an iphone , read online things about how to jailbreak AND unlock your iPhone and be careful about it , it should work though . T-Mobile and AT&T generally are the same though , because their towers are the same . It's easier to go with AT&T , sort of it may be more expensive though .
