Asked by M k - Tue Apr 21 00:56:02 2009 - - 11 Answers - 0 Comments A. starting solids is not about age as it is about milestones. the Dr will ask you some questions and then let you know if it is ok to start. but if you want to wait till he is 6 months. then that is ok. nothing says you have to start at 4 or wait till 6. as i breast feed exclusively, starting on solids gave my breast some feeding support. since i didn't have to produce it all myself. however some moms might tell you they didn't like what solids did at the other end. that is going to happen no matter what. overall most of raising a child is one guideline after another. nothing says baby has to start on an exact date. just a guideline for parents.
